WHY A COURSE FOR MUSCLE GROWTH?

Information on health and fitness is growing at an exponential rate. A quick scan of the book store, magazine rack, or internet shows a wealth of information on building muscle, shaping body parts, and increasing strength. Unfortunately, much of this information is based on misinterpreted science or experiential heresy. Up to date, cutting edge, and controversial information from as recent as 1998 covers such topics as fiber type shifting, hyperplasia, cellular gene expression and its contribution to muscle growth.

PRACTICAL

The information that is discussed in this course has gone through a detailed four year evaluation to make sure that the theory translates into practice. Using the current scientific theories, this course discusses training program design, workout selection, and certain training techniques to accelerate muscle growth. The practical aspect of the course ties the information together in order to apply the concepts learned in the theory component. This insures that a proper application to training can be performed.
